About Us
Our Mission
The mission of OURS is to be culturally responsive and relatable with resources that create self-sustainability for communities of color in rural South Carolina, who have been historically underserved by oppressive systemic racism. For far too long, black and brown people have had too fight too hard for equity, access, and opportunity.
The mission of OURS is to be culturally responsive and relatable with resources that create self-sustainability for communities of color in rural South Carolina, who have been historically underserved by oppressive systemic racism. For far too long, black and brown people have had too fight too hard for equity, access, and opportunity. So, we want to create Organized Uplifting, Resources, and Strategies for our blood, our land, and our people. The people who have been most impacted by educational, environmental, economical oppression are our people.
